May, 2009 - James King, III, is awarded the 2009 Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarship
James King, III, a graduate of B.S Aerospace Maintenance Management, Middle Tennessee State University and a licensed A&P Mechanic was one
of twenty-two recipients of the 2009 Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarship (TRACS) program awarded by the NBAA’s Maintenance
Committee. James (Jay) has been with Atlantic Aero since June of 2008 and he chose the Honeywell Lear 45 ECS Line Maintenance Course to
further develop his technical career. “Jay is a confident, young A&P technician and we are proud to have him on our crew” states Jim Spinder,
President of Atlantic Aero.
Currently in its fourth year, Maintenance TRACS offerings are sponsored by the business aviation industry. Included among the program’s
supporters are aircraft, engine and avionics manufacturers, maintenance training providers, and industry sponsors. The Maintenance TRACS program
is open to current and future A&P holders and other individuals interested in developing their technical and professional career paths in
business aviation maintenance. Award recipients are able to attend model-specific courses at aircraft, engine and avionics training centers.
