March, 2007 - Atlantic Aero Authorized by Pratt & Whitney Canada for IBR Inspections

Atlantic Aero, Inc, based at the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina has received authorization by Pratt & Whitney Canada to perform the mandatory 300-hour recurring IBR Inspections on PW305A engines installed on the Lear 60. Atlantic Aero has completed factory-authorized training, acquired the necessary tooling and has the NDT capabilities. Many IBR Inspections have been accomplished to date and many more are scheduled.

Atlantic Aero is an aerospace engineering services company, a parts fabrication company and a FAA repair station (#EWGR752D). Atlantic Aero holds numerous Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), Parts Manufacturer Approvals (PMAs) and a certification as an FAA Designated Alteration Station (DAS-511128-CE). Atlantic Aero is also certified with the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA.145.4179.
