September 2002 - Atlantic Aero receives STC for Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System

Atlantic Aero has received a Supplemental Type Certification for installation of a Honeywell MK VIII Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) for Cessna Models 500, 550 and S550. This system exceeds the FAA mandated requirements for a Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) for both FAR 91 and 135 operators for the above Cessna Models. The required installation time is approximately three weeks.
